Software Program Package

We have developed the new unique system for prediction of Transcription Factors binding sites (cis-elements) on DNA sequences, which first integrates the essential present methods of site prediction.

CisSearch™ is a modern powerful analytical instrument that is needed for present-day pharmaceutical industry which uses genetic information for development of new drugs.
Methods realized in CisSearch™ package are based on prediction of the effect of proteins that are critical for gene regulation on cells.

The program package consists of the set of means for analyzing of DNA sequences and cis-elements (specific DNA sites) recognition, which will be used on the first stage of the development of the high-tech drugs. Also our product can be used in other areas of biopharmaceutical industry.

There is a need of possibility to work with different types of data: DNA sequences, homologues, microarray analyses, signal transmission paths. The specialness of this novel product is in its integrated approach to analyzed information, which will give the maximum of knowledge from the available biological data.

With CisSearch™ you can do:

  • Microarray analyses (predict TF binding sites occurring in correspondence to expression values)
  • Promoter analyses (predict TF that are characteristic to the set of co regulated genes)
  • Phylogenetic Footprinting (predict TF binding sites using information about conservative parts of the promoter)
  • Regulatory region SNP Analyses (find possible regulatory effect of SNP )
  • Allele-promoter Analyses (find correlation between individual SNP and clinical history )

These methods are integrated with each other, so it is possible to use their combination. The program quality has been evaluated and checked with the practical experimental data.

The results are represented as both text and diagram. Undoubtedly pictorial representation helps the researcher to see the adequacy of the basic data in advance and evaluate the results with high quality. In our project a few types of diagrams are realized (histograms, bar diagrams) that represent different characteristics of data and analyze them.

Predict individual drug responses by understanding the individual differences in gene regulation. Capitalize on past investments by identification and avoidance of adverse drug mechanisms.
